I used to have a lot of faith in humanity, but over time, I've seen and experienced a lot to demolish this faith.
Ignorance and rudeness have been the main cause - people behaving in a really unacceptable way when there's no need to.
After that, there's the aggression and violence - no need for it.
Then today, on the tube, instead of people saying "excuse me please", or "sorry, this is my stop", I received a punch in the back from one person, a kick in the leg from another and someone else shoved me and told me to "get out of the fucking way, prick." nobody had a go at them, nobody even asked if I was alright. I could see a few people getting treated in a similar way, but did anyone intervene? Did they bollocks.
Is it really more of an effort to speak politely to people than it is to punch, shove, or kick them?
The milk of human kindness has turned sour. No wonder this planet is a fucking mess.
